E-Journals are a vital new tool in enhancing both learning processes as well as the group dynamics which make the production of an effective e-journal possible. Working on many levels, an e-journal project is essentially a resource focus which clarifies the relationships which exist between the production team, their context within a broader institution, the readership and audience, and the content being brought to public attention.

E-Journals are a valuable tool in raising the profile of a project, department, and institution. When carefully embedded in the learning structures which already exist, they both consolidate the resource skills and knowledge presently available and invite collaboration and partnership by creating a shared vision of what the project is about. As a resource pool, an e-journal quickly creates co-operative commitment, whilst showcasing not only the value of the project being undertaken, but the model of shared practice being sought from other people, projects, and institutions. In short, they are ideal for creating a community of activity based on common interests and practice.

Learning Solutions brings a wealth of experience in creating, structuring, maintaining, and growing e-journal projects. All our E-Journals are ISSN registered, and share our core philosophy of encouraging inter- and multi-disciplinary dialogue and debate. We presently sponsor Perspectives on Evil and Human Wickedness, Diversity within Unity, and The Future Business of Higher Education. These projects have created innovative and exciting international teams who are actively generating the formation of broad communities of interested and committed people.

We also use technology that is universally and publicly available, preferring to use the .pdf (Portable Document Format) system which is truly cross-platform and therefore available to all.
